Sokohewani Ventures is a company established to promote conservation of the environment through bamboo farming and marketing of products made using bamboo.
Bamboo farming is environmentally friendly since it does not require pesticides or other chemicals to sustain growth. This makes bamboo farming more eco-friendly than cultivation of any other plant.
Pollution is also reduced with bamboo cultivation as the plants reduce up to 35% of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere and produces over 30% more oxygen into the atmosphere compared to other equivalent mass of trees. This makes bamboo excellent for absorbing greenhouse gases and producing clean, fresh oxygen.
Using bamboo biodegradable products is the right step to go green and reduce the carbon footprint.
Bamboo biodegradable products give great results and satisfaction as would be achieved using the traditionally plastic based products except that production and use of the bamboo products does not pollute the environment nor destroy habitats like the plastics do in the countryside, urban centers, waterways and oceans.
